Souper Saturday Pics

Okay, ladies of the ward, here are the photos of the projects for this Souper Saturday to be held November 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. We will be having lunch, so watch for a sign-up sheet to come around at church for soup, rolls, and desserts. In addition to the following crafts, there will be a woman there with beads for you to make home-made earrings, bracelets, watches, etc. For the jewelry making, just bring money as there is nothing to order ahead. Everything else is marked with the price beneath the photo. Sign up for your choices at church.

There will be several classes available during Souper Saturday, too. They include a headband weaving class, a budgeting class, and a home organization/cleaning class. This should be a souper fun day! :) For any questions, call Michelle L. or Candance F.

Super Saturday Projects

Super Saturday is coming October 17th. Yay! Get ready, Relief Society sisters. Husbands, be prepared to watch the kids ALL DAY LONG! LOL

Here are some of the projects and their prices. Hopefully there is something to fit every budget. If you're interested in signing up for any of these projects, you can sign up at church or by emailing Michelle. Also, if you have any questions, I know Michelle will be happy to answer them for you. :)

FLOWER PENS - $FREE! Each sister will be able to make a few pens to take home.

PIGGY BANK - $12.00 Vinyl letters say "I hope they call me on a mission."

TUTUS - $4.50

FRAMES - $7.50 Frames come in black or brown and vinyl letters come in black, dark brown, or burgundy colors.

PLATES - $1.50 (There will be a variety of stencils to choose from.)

PHOTO BLOCKS - $1.25 (You will need to bring your own 5 x 5 photo for each block.) You can also make a photo block with a picture of the temple for $1.50.

FAMILY HOME EVENING CHART - $20.00

PUMPKIN - SMALL $1.00, MEDIUM $2, and LARGE $3
There are 3 different faces to choose from. This price is for the vinyl stickers. You must provide your own pumpkin. The stickers will work on real pumpkins or decorative pumpkins.




HOLIDAY COUNTDOWN - $10.00 (Available for Halloween or Christmas)




METAL ART MANGER SCENE - $25.00

Girl's Night Out at Jaxies!

We had so much fun going to Jaxies on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. The food was divine, the service was impeccable (thanks, Michelle!), and the conversation was hilarious. We need a few more of these getaways soon! :)

Relief Society Birthday Party

Hats off to those who planned this fun night! Sis. Mitchell's daughter performed a hilarious skit about all of the "hats" women wear throughout a single day. Then Sis. Liechty led a game of bean bag tossing. The night ended with some fun awards for the most unique hats and Sis. Anderson shared a neat talk about the amazing women in our ward. The food was great and everyone had a lot of fun. Thank you, Enrichment committee! And now, the pictures. :) Bwahaha!
